Design + Adventure + Education = ARRDesign
ARRDesign is led by Angela Horne, a mid-west native who loves the East Coast. A mom, wife, freelancer and professor, Horne started out as a painter creating privately-commissioned large-scale works (even a couple of really fun ones in the Bahamas!). Over time, her interests evolved towards collaborative efforts. This includes working with Colleagues on innovative projects, supporting undergrad Students as they explore design, and helping Clients bring their visions to life. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Art (Magna Cum Laude, Phi Kappa Phi), a Master of Fine Art in Graphic Design - and even a "Ducktorate Degree" from The Disney Institute! While the pursuit of adventure has taken her across the country, through parts of Europe and South America, she has fallen in love with a country home near the ocean. She considers herself lucky that a life-long passion for art combined with a natural desire to help people has turned into a career in graphic design and education. Horne's design work can be found published in LOGO 2.0: Logo Makeovers and the Design Strategy Behind the Project, the international 38th Creativity Annual, and American Corporate Identity. In her downtime, she can be found with a camera in her hand, tinkering outside in the garden, cooking à la "allergy-free", or taking in the salt air with her family. If you are interested in learning more specifically about her work as Professor and MFA Director at Georgia Southern University, you are invited to read more.
To put it simply: Design + Adventure + Education = ARRDesign - for over 15 strong years and counting.
